Well, another Labour Day in the books.  Go figure we have a beautiful Memorial Day, and this weekend which is normally take it the bank gorgeous... well wasn't.  I'd like to personally thank everyone who came out for the 5k twilight run despite the rainy conditions.  I understand they had a record 1000 plus runners, most of which showed up to Finn's afterwards for beer and burgers.

It looks like pool weather has officially switched to have a fire in the back yard weather, which is cool by me.

Congrats to Carmel for their victory of our own Wildcats this past Friday night.   From what I understand the 'Cats hung in there for awhile.  A lot of football to go still, Coach Kuz will get  'em going.

Two solid cover bands this weekend, Mr. Slate on Friday, and jaktripper (great name) on Saturday, so if your out will the boys or gals, come on by for some live music in downtown Libertyville.

MainStreet's 5k Twilght Run this Sunday

Happy Labor Day weekend the unofficial end of summer. Well that's fine with me I guess, fall is the best weather we got around here, so I say bring it on...high school football, NFL, kids back in school, less crowded golf courses, long sleeve shirts, and of course the release of Oktoberfest Lager. Our Oktoberfest will be released Wednesday, September 15th. There will be an early release party the night before for all Mug Club members. We will also be having a our own Oktoberfest party on Saturday October 2nd. German Food, Beer, and Music. Ein Prost!
